A sample of the platforms, protocols, and tools AI-driven CAD automation can realistically connect to. From the CAD and BIM software your team already runs, to the AI models and interfaces like the Model Context Protocol that make automation possible, down to the scripting languages that tie it all together. This is the connective layer IONNOVA works in every day, building automation around the tools your team is already using.
IONNOVA sits at the intersection almost nobody occupies: real software & AI engineering experience, real hands-on AutoCAD and AutoLISP background, and real experience delivering hands-on AI training programs, too. So whether you want your team trained up, or the tooling built for you, you're working with someone who can do both well.
We combine both: AI training built specifically for engineering workflows, and CAD automation built by people who genuinely understand AI. The industry's own research backs this approach: the real driver of AI adoption in engineering is having the right expertise and workflow built around it.
IONNOVA was founded by two engineers who came at the same problem from two directions: real production CAD and infrastructure design experience, and real AI/software engineering. That combination is why we can train your team, or build the automation ourselves. We've sat on both sides of the drafting table: laying out routes and drawings by hand, and writing the code that automates the repetitive parts of that work. That dual perspective shapes every engagement, practical, field-tested, and built around how engineering teams actually work.
Software and AI engineer with a graduate background in mathematics and electrical/computer engineering (MS in progress), plus early-career roots in CAD drafting and programming from telecom infrastructure design, and a foundational background in architecture and urban planning. That mix of design training, applied mathematics, and hands-on CAD work is what shapes how IONNOVA automates engineering workflows: understanding both the drawings and the code behind them.
Over a decade of hands-on OSP design experience in telecom engineering roles, with deep expertise in AutoCAD and GIS-based infrastructure design. Her work spans fiber and utility route design, from field data collection through construction-ready drawings, giving IONNOVA a practical, field-tested view of what engineering teams actually need from their tools. Bachelor's in Information Science from the University of North Texas.
Two ways to put AI to work: train your team to use it well, or bring us in to design and build the automation itself. Both are core to what we do. Some firms want their own people able to build and maintain automation going forward. Others want a working solution without adding that to anyone's plate. We support either path, and we'll help you figure out which one fits before any work begins.
Hands-on, practical AI training built specifically for engineering and drafting teams. Delivered through IONNOVA Academy, grounded in real AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D workflows so your team leaves with skills they'll actually use.
Custom AutoLISP and .NET tools that eliminate the repetitive parts of drafting: block conversion, dimension cleanup, sheet setup, and more, so your engineers spend more of their time designing.
AI assistants trained on your firm's own CAD standards, layer conventions, and title blocks, built to catch violations and explain them in plain language, referencing your standards specifically.
Inherited a pile of undocumented LISP routines from someone who left years ago? We read it, document what it actually does, and rebuild it properly, so your team owns scripts they can maintain and understand.
Let's talk about training your team, automating the repetitive parts of your drafting workflow, or building a standards agent for your firm. Tell us what's eating up time in your process today, and we'll follow up to figure out whether training, automation, or both make the most sense for your team.
